Translate individual German words:

With German, you must be careful of one problem: the Germans like to run several words together to make a phrase. If you get 'no such word' type responses, you may have to divvy the word up into its component parts to get partial translations.

German Stories:

This is a site from UCLA where you can print off stories in their original German and in the English translation. Keep in mind that grammatical differences mean that it is difficult to translate word for word because the verb will be in a different place, etc.

Oral Pronounciation

This site allows you to play the audio version of a word. A great way to work on learning pronunciation. Covers many different languages.

Online Dictionaries:

Some of these dictionaries work, others don't.
